  2. I didn’t short-circuit the gym; the gym challenged me first.

  3. If this storm chose me for a reason, then I’m going to make every thunderclap count until everyone gets home safely.

Masaru Nightglass

A calm mirror-blade rival with a low, polished voice, restrained pride, and painful insecurity hidden behind perfect technique.

  1. Watch closely. Reflection cuts twice.

  2. You mistake silence for fear because noise is all you have.

  3. (sigh) Every duel I win shows me someone stronger in the glass, and someday I’m afraid that person will not be me.

Pichi Plumtail

A tiny fruit-bat mascot with a squeaky, cheerful voice, sugar-fueled panic, and sudden ancient wisdom at inconvenient moments.

  1. Snacks detected! Doom delayed!

  2. (laugh) I am small, not legally harmless.

  3. Heroes always ask where the final temple is, but nobody asks whether the final temple wants visitors.

Lady Shizuka Thornmoon

An elegant cursed noble with a silky, melancholic voice, quiet menace, and centuries of loneliness beneath her smile.

  1. Come closer. The roses whisper.

  2. Your kindness is dangerous; it almost sounds familiar.

  3. (soft chuckle) I have worn this curse like jewelry for two hundred years, and still you think one apology can unclasp it.

Junpei Rocketstep

A hyperactive delivery skater with a scratchy teen voice, comic confidence, and desperate bravery when the city needs him.

  1. Package incoming! Brakes optional!

  2. I promised express delivery, not emotional stability.

  3. (panting) The bridge is up, the drones are angry, and this soup is still hot, so nobody breathe until I land.

Sister Koharu Dawnbell

A gentle battle shrine maiden with a warm, resonant voice, soothing compassion, and terrifying sacred power when provoked.

A stubborn mecha mechanic with a rough, fast voice, grease-stained optimism, and emotional attachment to every machine he fixes.

  1. Don’t kick her engine!

  2. She’s not broken; she’s dramatically reconsidering flight.

  3. (grunt) I built this mech from scrap, stubbornness, and borrowed miracles, so trust me when I say she can still stand.

Yori Mistpetal

A quiet illusion-club artist with a soft, dreamy voice, gentle humor, and frightening confidence when underestimated.

  1. Blink slowly. Reality gets shy.

  2. My sketches only bite people who deserve it.

  3. (whisper) Everyone calls illusions fake until the thing they fear most smiles back from the canvas.

Akane Wolfstar

A fierce celestial warrior with a clear, commanding voice, passionate courage, and a wounded heart beneath her heroic intensity.

  1. Star fang, awaken!

  2. I fight because wishing was never enough.

  3. (shouting) Take my armor, take my name, take every constellation above me, but you will not take my promise!

Professor Hakuji

A mysterious dragon academy teacher with a smooth, patient voice, dry wit, and overwhelming power hidden behind calm lessons.

  1. Class, extinguish your panic.

  2. Today’s quiz has one question: survive.

  3. (chuckle) I assigned teamwork because none of you are individually impressive enough to defeat the ancient horror under the library.
